Search and preferences
Typing filters our collection in your browser. Globe choices and follow-up suggestions also filter locally. When you press Be Relaxful Now, your recent conversation is sent to Relaxful. When the AI guide is connected and an allowance is available, up to four recent user messages, limited to 1,200 characters in total, are sent to Groq with relevant verified catalog entries. Groq processes requests under its own API privacy terms. The guide recommends existing entries; it does not search the web or confirm live prices or availability.
Relaxful does not save your conversation or personalized AI reply in its application database. For up to 24 hours, it stores a hash of the request and the recommended catalog identifiers to reuse common recommendations. To limit abuse and keep the guide free, short-lived counters include a keyed hash derived from the requesting IP address and the current day. Raw IP addresses are not stored in these counters, and expired entries are removed during later use. Voice language, saved places and the last 100 Surprise me destination identifiers use this browser’s local storage. Surprise discovery and Follow your mood run in your browser without sending a conversation to the AI provider. They do not sync between devices. Clear site data in your browser to erase them.
Your comparison shortlist stays in the current page and clears when you reload or close the browser tab. More like this and its Back control keep recent discovery views in page memory; these also clear on reload or when you close the tab. Ritual selections and country filters stay in page memory and make no AI request. Daydream pairs and their recent choices stay in page memory and clear on reload. One minute here keeps its timer and recent destination choices in page memory; it makes no AI request and resets when you reload. Comparing places, choosing a daydream and exploring related listings do not make an AI request or publish anything to social media. Saving a place with the heart uses the device storage described above.
Your visit plans
A little visit plan stores your checklist and short note in this browser’s local storage, separately for each place. Notes are not sent to Relaxful, the AI guide, operators or social media. They do not sync between devices. Use Clear my plan to erase a place’s plan, or clear browser site data to erase them all. If browser storage is unavailable, changes remain only in the current tab.
Your Relaxful Passport
Your passport reads saved place identifiers and visit plans from this browser. Country filters run locally. Download this collection creates a text file on your device containing the selected places, operator links, directions, checklist counts and any personal notes. The file is not uploaded or automatically shared. Removing a saved place leaves its visit plan available in the place guide; use Clear my plan to remove that note separately. Passport information does not sync between devices.
Your trip planner
The Slow Way trip planner stores your itinerary, dates, notes and activity estimates in this browser under relaxful-trip-v1. It does not send them to AI or sync across devices. Downloaded itineraries and JSON backups contain your notes; they are not uploaded or shared automatically. Restore reads a file locally. Start a fresh trip replaces this local trip; Undo can restore the previous plan during the current session. Maps load only when you open them and send ordinary request information to OpenStreetMap. Clear browser site data to erase stored plans.
Location and voice
Globe and place coordinates are approximate destination locations, not your personal location.
Voice search uses your browser’s speech-recognition service if supported. The browser or its provider may process audio remotely under its own privacy terms. Relaxful does not record or retain audio. You can always type instead.
Aggregate activity
Relaxful counts searches by experience category and visits to outbound place links by day. These aggregate counters store no search text, names, email addresses or precise visitor locations. Our hosting provider may process standard request information to operate and protect the service.
Maps and external websites
Embedded OpenStreetMap maps and external operator websites receive ordinary browser request information when loaded. Country flags and location artwork are hosted by Relaxful. Some photographs are loaded from Wikimedia Commons; that service receives ordinary browser request information. External services’ privacy policies apply. Relaxful does not receive your booking or payment details.
